Connecting Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot

Turn the connector on, add Systemise to your AI app, and take access away again.

The AI connector lets you use Systemise from an AI app you already use — Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot. You ask in plain words ("what's on tomorrow?", "draft a quote for the Smith bathroom") and the AI app looks it up in Systemise for you.

Step 1: your company admin turns it on

Nobody can connect until the company allows it. Someone with permission to change the company's settings goes to Settings → AI Connector and turns the switch on.

That page also lists everyone who has connected, what they connected, and when it was last used.

Step 2: add Systemise to your AI app

You add Systemise to the AI app using this address:

You do not need a key or a password to paste in. The AI app sends you to Systemise to sign in and say yes.

Claude

  1. Open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Give it a name (for example, Systemise) and paste the address above.
  4. Choose Connect. Claude opens the Systemise sign-in page.

ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors.
  2. Turn on developer mode if ChatGPT asks for it, then choose to create a connector.
  3. Paste the address above and choose OAuth for authentication.
  4. Save, then connect. ChatGPT opens the Systemise sign-in page.

Microsoft Copilot Studio

  1. Open your agent and go to Tools → Add tool.
  2. Choose Model Context Protocol.
  3. Paste the address above.
  4. For authentication choose OAuth 2.0 with Dynamic discovery.
  5. Create the connection. Copilot opens the Systemise sign-in page.

Which plans can do this

Whether your plan with Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft lets you add a custom connector is up to each of them, and they change it from time to time. Check with the vendor if you cannot see the options above. (Correct as at 29 September 2026.)

Step 3: say yes on the Systemise screen

After you sign in (with your second step, if you use one), Systemise shows you:

  • Which app is asking — with a Verified badge for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot. If it says Unverified application, only carry on if you set it up yourself.
  • Which company — pick one from the list. It doesn't matter which company you have open in Systemise: every company you belong to is in the list, the connection is for the one you pick here, and nothing is picked for you (unless you only belong to one company). If the AI connector is off for the company you pick and you're allowed to change its settings, you can turn it on right there; otherwise the screen tells you to ask an administrator. If you work in two companies, connect twice, once for each. Once connected, every answer the AI app gets from Systemise says which company it came from.
  • What it may do — for example "See quotes" or "Create and change jobs". Untick anything you don't want it to have. At least one must stay ticked.
  • Where your data goes — the AI app's company gets what you ask about and handles it under its own terms.

Choose Connect to your company to connect — the button names the company you picked, so check it — or Deny to say no. Either way you go back to the AI app.

Taking access away

  • Your own connections: go to Profile → Connected AI apps and choose Revoke. The app stops working straight away.
  • Anyone's connection (admins): go to Settings → AI Connector and choose Revoke next to it.
  • Everyone at once (admins): turn the switch off in Settings → AI Connector. Every connection stops at its next request. Turning it back on lets them carry on.

If you leave the company, or it starts requiring a second sign-in step you didn't use when you connected, your connection stops working too. Connect again to carry on.
