Convert a booking to a quote or job
Turn a booking into a quote or a job, and see what carries across.
When a booking leads to work, convert it. The new quote or job starts with the booking's details, and the booking's files and activity follow it, so nothing is typed twice.
Convert a booking
Open the booking
Select the booking on the calendar.
Open the Convert tab
Select the Convert tab in the booking panel.
Choose quote or job
Select Convert to Quote or Convert to Job.
Finish and save
The new quote or job opens with the booking's details filled in. Complete it and save.
When you save, the booking's status changes to Converted and it shows with a green ring on the calendar. Its reminder isn't cancelled, so it may still go out if the booking hasn't started yet.
