Dashboard
Your day at a glance: quote counts, overdue bookings, today's bookings, jobs and meetings, company activity and your saved reports. Arrange it the way you work.
The dashboard is the first screen most people see after signing in. It's made of widgets, each showing one thing, such as today's bookings or how many quotes need following up. Your dashboard is your own: the widgets you add and how you arrange them don't change anyone else's.
Select Dashboard in the main menu to open it.
What's on it to start with
Until you change it, your dashboard has:
- along the top, four counts: Pending Quotes, Sent Quotes, Follow Up Quotes and Overdue Bookings;
- Today's Bookings and Tomorrow's Bookings;
- Today's Jobs and Tomorrow's Jobs;
- Today's Meetings and Company Activity down the right-hand side.
The layout grows with your screen, so a larger display shows the same arrangement drawn bigger.
The widgets
| Widget | What it shows | Select it to |
|---|---|---|
| Pending Quotes | How many quotes are pending, and their share of all pending, sent and follow-up quotes. | Open the quotes list filtered to Pending. |
| Sent Quotes | How many quotes are sent and waiting for the client's reply. | Open the quotes list filtered to Sent. |
| Follow Up Quotes | How many quotes are due for follow-up. | Open the quotes list filtered to Follow Up. |
| Overdue Bookings | How many bookings are past their booked time. The bar turns red when there are any. | Open the overdue bookings list. |
| Today's Bookings, Tomorrow's Bookings | Each booking with the contact, time, employee and what it's for. The employee's colour marks each row. On today's list, a booking's time turns red once it has started. | Open a booking in Appointments. |
| Today's Jobs, Tomorrow's Jobs | Jobs starting that day, with their reference, description and start time. | — |
| Today's Meetings | Your meetings today: ones you organised or were invited to. | — |
| Company Activity | The latest 20 activity entries across the company. USER shows what people did; SYSTEM shows what Systemise did automatically. | Open the record an entry is about. |
| Saved reports | A custom report you've saved for the dashboard, with its row count and description. | Select Open to go to the saved report. |
When a list widget has nothing to show, it says so and offers a shortcut, such as + New booking or + New meeting.
Widgets only show records your role lets you see. For example, if your role can't view quotes, the quote counts can't show your company's figures.

Each widget can be on your dashboard once. Widgets that are already there are greyed out in the list.
A dashboard can hold up to 30 widgets.
Show a saved report on your dashboard
The Custom Reports tab lists saved reports that were saved with Add to the dashboard as a widget ticked. To make a report available there, or to build one, see Saved reports.
A report widget runs the report against live data each time the dashboard loads. It shows the report as a table or chart, depending on how the report was set up in the report builder. Select Open to go to the full report.
Who can use the dashboard
You need Dashboard: View on your role to see the dashboard. With it, you can arrange your own dashboard. Owners, Office staff and Supervisors have it. Field workers and Contractors don't: Systemise opens on the first area their role can use instead.
A saved report widget needs Reports: View as well.
